Professional Experience

Joe E. Edwards, born 1949 Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a shareholder/director of Crowe & Dunlevy, P.C. Mr. Edwards practices in the areas of Banking, Complex Litigation, Cross Borders Transactions and Dispute Resolution. He is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma state and federal courts, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States and in the States of Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.  Mr. Edwards has undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from Oklahoma City University.  Mr. Gordon is an active member of several committees of the American Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association.

Mr. Edwards has been a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education seminars sponsored by University of Oklahoma College of Law, Oklahoma City University School of Law, Oklahoma Bar Association, and Texas Association of Bank Counsel.  Mr. Edwards published works inlcude “Participate in the Conduct of an Enterprise: Rx for RICO Liability”, 64 Oklahoma Bar Journal 2142, 1993 and he has authored white papers on Who May Sue an Accountant, Lending to Holding Companies, Lending to Indian Tribes, Check Fraud, Lien Perfection issues.

Mr. Edwards has served as a director of Leadership Oklahoma and is a lifetime member.  He is active in the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
