RIKER DANZIG CELEBRATES HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

October 9, 2009 – Morristown, NJ - Camelia M. Valdes, Passaic County Prosecutor, was featured as the special guest speaker at the Hispanic Heritage Month Luncheon hosted by the Diversity Committee at Morristown, New Jersey – based law firm Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP on October 6, 2009.  Ms. Valdes is the first Latina county prosecutor in the State of New Jersey, the first woman prosecutor in Passaic County, and the first lead prosecutor of Dominican ancestry in the United States.  The luncheon was held at Riker Danzig’s Morristown office and highlighted the achievements of prominent individuals in the legal community, both in New Jersey and nationwide.
