State Law Resources Announces New Board Members and Officers
RALEIGH, N.C. (Dec. 23, 2008) – State Law Resources, Inc., an international referral network of independent law firms that provide legal and regulatory strategy to clients across the country, is pleased to announce the selection of three new member attorneys to its board of directors. They are Steve Morgan, a partner with the Murphy Desmond law firm in Madison, Wis.; David Kramer, a partner with the Baird Holm law firm in Omaha, Neb., and John Knapp, a partner with Winthrop & Weinstine law firm in Minneapolis.
State Law Resources also announces the selection of new officers to its board of directors. Tom Hnasko, a partner with the law firm Hinkle, Hensley, Shanor & Martin LLP, in Santa Fe, N.M., has been elected chair, and Paul Cosgrove, of counsel with the law firm Lindsay, Hart, Neil & Weigler in Portland, Ore., has been elected vice-chair.
Immediate past Chair John Pellecchia, a senior partner with the law firm Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP and leader of its Government Affairs Practice Group, has completed his one-year term as chair. He has been an active board member for the past five years.

State Law Resources’ board of directors is comprised of legal practitioners from around the county who work in multi-practice, business-oriented law firms that deal with all branches of state and federal government. New board members are elected by the existing board for three-year terms.
